This task aimed to investigate the production of English focus prosody by non-native speakers of English. ITAs were asked to read aloud passages that were shown on a computer screen, after which they had to answer questions related to the passages. These questions were designed to elicit contrastive focus on either the adjective or the noun in a noun phrase.
