Abstract
When Meat is Given a Second Chance, is a speculative fiction collection consisting of 11 short stories. These stories are populated with characters who have the chance to try again through new technology, fantastic creatures or plain old magic--that is, if they can manage to face the darkness that lies within themselves. The speculative elements of these pieces serve as catalysts for characters who are already struggling to maintain their lives, their relationships, and their sanity. | 176 pages
