The Long Island Historic Postcard Collection consists of full-resolution, color, greyscale and black and white digital reproductions of approximately two hundred postcards of towns and villages in Queens, Nassau, and Suffolk Counties of New York dating from the 19th and 20th centuries. Materials contained within this collection are part of the Special Collections and University Archives ongoing efforts to document the evolution of the Stony Brook University campus community and local environs.
