Climate Knowledge Collective
The Climate Knowledge Collective is a knowledge sharing network of global researchers capturing the stories of women leaders at the forefront of climate change.
Founded in 2024 by Dr. Peg Spitzer, CKCollective began as an extension of Dr. Spitzer’s book "Empowering Female Climate Change Activists in the Global South: The Path Toward Environmental Social Justice." Inspired by the research in this book, CKCollective is a 501(c)(3) (Form 990) organization. It is comprised of a team of passionate, interdisciplinary researchers, industry experts, and artists, all working on climate-related issues and sharing the core belief that women play a transformational role in climate solutions. Our research is centered on a feminist reflexive methodology that takes into account not only the lived experiences of women but also their emotions, ideas, and cultural context; all necessary ingredients to understand impact and identify solutions.
