Abstract
Time Spent With Family follows Charlie, a depressed misanthrope, who lost control of his life after the deaths of his two brothers. He torpedoed his job as an English teacher, broke up with his long-term girlfriend, and watched his remaining family fragment and disperse. With the help of his elderly neighbor, his nagging sister, and the sudden reappearance of his dead brother's old girlfriend, Charlie struggles to put his life back together. He must admit his pain and confront his guilt in order to move forward and finally put his brothers to rest. | 285 pages
