Abstract: The purpose and goal of this case study was to: Better understand Spanish as a Heritage Language. Document positive, neutral, or negative influences of a Dual Language immersion program on the Heritage Language development of an HL participant versus typical HL development embodied by participation in mainstream English only education program. Examine the potential role, if any, of academic pedagogy in supporting HL maintenance and/or development. | 232 pages
