The works contained within this collection are the final products of a joint collaboration between the Office of the Registrar; the Special Collections and University Archives; and the Preservation Department. The project was conducted in the spring and summer of 2012, and its focus was to convert older, archival records generated by the Office of the Registrar and maintained within the University Libraries to accessible, electronic resources in support of research and learning. All works are based on the original, analog (paper) records as released by the Registrar, except where born digital only records have been loaded to the system. All works have been preserved for historic purposes, please see the Office of the Registrar for current, accurate schedules.

Welcome to the Stony Brook University Graduate Bulletin Online, the official Graduate Bulletin. The online Bulletin is updated on a regular basis. Historical versions are archived once per year. For general information about degree requirements, select Degrees. Academic Regulations covers the policies all graduate students are required to know. Programs & Courses provides details on majors and minors, as well as course descriptions. Students are responsible for reviewing, understanding, and abiding by the University’s regulations, procedures, requirements, and deadlines as described in official publications and calendars. This includes the Graduate Bulletin, and Academic Calendars. For specific information about program requirements, students should visit program websites.
